Die internasionale huweliksweek wat hierde jaar vir die eerste keer in Suid Afrika gevier word is Woensdag oggend amptelik geopen deur Basil Kivedo, uitvoerend burgemeester van die Breedevallei Munisipaliteit. Die afskop het by YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Worcester plaasgevind en lui een week in om huwelike wêreldwyd te vier.
Die seremonie het begin met ’n drama wat gewys het hoe ’n man en ’n vrou met verskillende verwagting in die huweliksboot stap. Daar is sekere goed wat ‘n mens moet los om saam met sy huweliksmaat deur die lewe te kan gaan, maar jy kry hiervoor ook baie terug. Continue reading

This year the Marriage Week is also in South Africa! A week to focus on what is important in life: relationships. Especially with your partner for life!

The relationship between husband and wife is the oldest relationship between human beings. Till this day it is the desire of many young adults to find that one-of-a-kind partner and when they do, to live happily ever after…
Today’s world however doesn’t always offer a realistic picture of marriage and especially in South Africa we hear many cries for good examples. Therefore we want to use this international initiative to celebrate marriage and put it in the spotlight as a valuable building block of this nation.
